Summer wine dinner series 2024

April 16, 2024

Had a harder time than normal getting wine makers out this summer, so we decided to mix it up a bit.  I’ve selected some fun and delicious wines from different regions in different countries to showcase for y’all.  We will, of course, prepare appropriate cuisine from those regions for the dinners.  Instead of our normal American eclectic, for example, we will keep the Spanish dinner all Spanish cuisine including product sourcing.  Without further ado.

May 16, 2024-France

June 13, 2024-Italy

July 18, 2024-Spain

August 13, 2024-California

September 24, 2024-Mirror Winery with owner former NFL Quarterback Rick Mirer and famous winemaker Kirk Venge

October 3, 2024-Valdemar Winery Washington State

As usual we have 60 spots for the dinners.  We will take reservations over the phone only and with credit cards to hold said reservation.  We ask that you give us 72hrs if you need to cancel otherwise we will charge 50% of the total.  I will post the menu and wines on the web site shortly after the preceding dinner.  France will be posted 4/20/24.

Behind the scenes

Harold’s was founded in 2015 by Harold Balink, one of the most well-known chefs in Southwest Florida. This upscale restaurant features a rotating weekly menu which features dishes that show the Chef’s sensibilities. All dishes are made from scratch and farm-sourced.

The restaurant space has a modern, but intimate atmosphere with a friendly staff. Featuring a full bar, semi-open kitchen, and new dining room, Harold’s is a sleek, comfortable, nuanced dining
experience for all ages.
