It's been a crazy couple years for all of us. A little over a year ago I had several things bothering me that needed solving. One, about 5 months out of the year I was telling folks, many long time guests, they couldn't have a reservation for 3 weeks. Two, doing 60-70 people a night with a salad girl and a dishwasher wasn't going to cut it as my body started breaking down. And lastly, many of my guests came much less often because we only served beer and wine and they were scotch or bourbon drinkers or simply wanted a martini to start the night. The answer? Move or renovate. The spot next to me was open and my landlord was amenable, so we expanded. It's been tedious and trying, but I've had so many people come through to help I can't even begin to express my gratitude. We are there, starting Tuesday December 14, 2021 we are open for business. We've got food, booze, staff and a brand spankin' new place for you all to come an enjoy. We've tried to keep many of the things that everyone enjoyed about our little spot, while adding hopefully much of what was missing. We've got a bar area that is first come first serve and a dining room side that is reservation only. So, if we're a last minute thought or a late night drink and a bite, we've got you covered. TR, Ruthanne, Miguel, Antonia and myself are all returning and I was able to bring my ole buddy Jay back to run the bar. Thanks for your patience and I hope to see you soon! We offer a large selection of well appointed wine and beer. We pride ourselves on quality and diversity in our wine list which features international and domestic options. Enjoy wine by the bottle or glass along with the meal, or grab a drink beforehand at our full bar.
Behind the scenes
Harold’s was founded in 2015 by Harold Balink, one of the most well-known chefs in Southwest Florida. This upscale restaurant features a rotating weekly menu which features dishes that show the Chef’s sensibilities. All dishes are made from scratch and farm-sourced.
The restaurant space has a modern, but intimate atmosphere with a friendly staff. Featuring a full bar, semi-open kitchen, and new dining room, Harold’s is a sleek, comfortable, nuanced dining
experience for all ages.
